Covid-19 Update

Beautiful Practice For All Your Dental Needs

Screen-Protector

Dear Patients,

Our top priority is the health and safety of our patients and employees. We are committed to reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 through social distancing and in helping ensure our nation’s front-line healthcare professionals have access to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they need.

We previously announced we are temporarily delaying all non-emergency dental appointments during the COVID-19 outbreak. This includes delaying regular visits for exams, cleanings, and x-rays. We have been reaching out directly to our patients with existing appointments to help them reschedule for a later date. We will continue to stay open for dental emergencies with limited hours during the week. Please feel free to call our office as we will be here for any questions you may have.

These extraordinary times have affected us all. Your health is extremely important to us. While we look forward to the opportunity to care for you soon, we want to make sure you come back to a safe environment. We have taken following steps to ensure your and staff’s safety here at Bolingbrook Family Dental.

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):

N95 Masks: We have been able to recently purchase some limited supply of N95 masks for our staff. To ensure that our front-line professionals continue to have access to supplies they need, we will be looking into CDC guidelines for disinfecting and safety procedures for multiple uses of the disposable N95 masks.

Face Shields: We thank “got robot?” of Elgin for providing 3D printed face shields for our office. (https://www.gotrobot.us)

Patient Care with Social Distancing:

While Social Distancing orders are in place, we are having all patients wait in their car and requesting them to call in to check-in for their appointment. We are requiring all patients to wash their hands as they walk in. We are also encouraging patients to not bring anyone else with them, unless necessary. If it is necessary, we ask them to wait in the car for their safety.

Cleaner air:

We have deployed 2 hospital grade high-efficiency particulate air purifiers throughout the office. These purifiers have shown to be highly effective in capturing particles in size of coronavirus and smaller. We will be constantly running them at high speed, which will filter the air in our office approximately every 30 minutes. This will help to capture any present virus particles and suction the aerosols in the air. https://www.iqair.com/us/blog/press-releases/iqair-takes-action-against-deadly-coronavirus-outbreak

Disinfect:

In addition to following our strict routine cleanup protocol, we have been disinfecting commonly used surfaces such as door handles, countertops, bathroom faucets and waiting room chairs after each patient. We have also recently gone through deep cleaning and sanitizing of our entire office.

Active monitoring:

Our staff have been taking temperature measurements and short health care screening of each patient before their procedure.

Please let us know prior to your appointment if you are experiencing any of the symptoms outlined by the CDC.

Thank You
